Stepmill
Step onto stairs and grasp hand rails. Avoid transferring body weight onto handle bars. Intensity can be altered by increasing speed. As a beginner you can expect to be able to go on for about 5 minutes at a normal walking pace before getting tired, carry on!
Climb stairs to keep pace with machine.
TREADmill
A classic form of cardio, high impact and may cause knee-pain. Intensity can be altered by increasing incline and speed. As a beginner you can expect to be able to alternate between jogging and walking at a relativly slow pace for however long you can push yourself!
